NOTE: If you have little or no trail riding experience,
we strongly recommend that you attend our off road school before
you go trail riding… The school is just as much fun, it
costs the same price, and you will get all the attention you need
to get you started the right way… Then, when you do go trail
riding, you will find the whole experience much more enjoyable,
and much less tiring.
We operate on 2 routes in southeast England, and
both start points are easily accessed from the M25 and surrounding
areas. So if you live in the southeast, there will be a route
not too far from you. You will be sent detailed instructions &
driving directions a few days before the event, and our staff
will meet you at the start point at 10am.
Each day consists of a 50 to 70 mile loop with a mix of various
types of trails and road sections in between (on most routes you
will spend around 70% of your time off road). Each day begins
at 10am with a briefing & bike intro session, then it’s
into your kit and away on the trail!
We have rest breaks long the way as required, and we stop for
lunch for around an hour. The day usually finishes at around 4pm,
depending on the how the riders progress on the day. You’ll
be lead by an experienced guide, and a sweeper will follow behind.
Free advice & tuition will be available, and all staff are
first aid trained.
We tailor the day according to the riders’ experience
(easy-going for beginners, additional trails for the more experienced),
and while we try to avoid mixed ability groups, where this is
not possible, the more experienced can ride ahead with the guide,
while the less experienced stay in the safe hands of the sweeper.
In all cases our aim is to let you to enjoy the experience at
your own pace.
TRAIL RIDING ROUTES
We have trail riding from time to time days throughout the year
days. These operate on 2 routes in the southeast (both start points
have easy motorway access and are close to the M25). You will
be sent detailed instructions and directions prior to the event,
and our staff will meet you at the start point. Trail rides are
arranged as and when we have sufficient numbers to run them. A
minimum group of 4 is required to arrange a day, but spare places
are made available to individuals on our off road email database
as soon as they become available (you can join our off road email
database via the CONTACT US page). Our maximum group size for
a trail ride is around 8 riders.
