MONTEBLANCO details . . .

MONTEBLANCO DETAILS | MONTEBLANCO LOCAL AREA | MONTEBLANCO WEATHER | MONTEBLANCO HOTEL

Monteblanco is a relatively new FIA (Formula 1) licensed test track near Seville in southern Spain. It has been cleverly designed to offer a variety of layouts ranging from 2.8km to 4.7km in length, but we operate on the 3.93km (2.44 mile) Variant 2 layout because this is the most popular layout for bikes, and the one used for the Andalusian motorcycle championship races.

This challenging circuit has a couple of twisty sections, a mix of medium speed corners (one being a steep rise over a hill leading to a blind exit), and a 960 metre long start/finish straight. The circuit is very wide (13 metres at the narrowest point, increasing to 15 metres at the widest point – which is even wider than Jerez!), and one of the circuit’s major advantages is that it has plenty of tarmac run-off areas – so if you do make a mistake, in most cases you should be able to recover and get back onto the circuit without going into the kitty-litter!

The circuit’s on-site facilities are also superb, with an excellent cafeteria, large garages (with toilet & shower and plenty of power points in each), a large paddock, a fuel filling station on-site, a VIP viewing area (which you will have access to), and a huge viewing area above the garages (ideal for sunbathing!).
